Taggarts Restaurant & Bar is located on the ground floor of the Frankston International adjacent to reception with panoramic views of the gardens. Breakfast is open to guests and the public every day of the year.

A GREAT start to your day whether you are rushing off to work or relaxing on the weekend. The a la carte dinner menu continually evolves as our Chefs create classic, tasty dishes using local suppliers. Although the menu will change regularly you can be assured that it always offers generous meals that are fresh and creative with healthy options available.

Our Special FODMAP friendly menu caters for dietary requirements. Taggarts is fully licensed and the wine list has a selection of local Australian wines or you may choose to bring your own bottle of wine for a small corkage fee.

Dishes selected for the FODMAP menu were developed based on advise and recipes from Dr Sue Sheppard books and Monash University FODMAP diet. These dishes are gluten-free, fructose-free and lactose-free. We understand people have different tolerances, please discuss with us if you would like some ingredients omitted.

All of the above meals are prepared in our kitchen where ingredients which are not FODMAP friendly exist.

Time to relax

Wanted to find a nice relaxing restaurant for my wife and myself, well…… we weren’t disappointed the food was excellent, well cooked and tasty, the service from staff was professional and friendly, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back, and certainly be recommending to our friends, thankyou taggarts…

Fine dining at a relaxed pace
I now see why people rate Taggart’s so highly. I had the Taggarts special presentation fish and chips served with fresh garden salad for my main. The presentation was refreshing unique. My desert was the orange and passionfruit bavarois. It was very enjoyable. The staff mad me feel “at home”. They were quite attentive. I recommend dining at Taggart’s when you are in the Frankston or Port Phillip bayside areas. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful food & nothing is too much trouble
We love eating at Taggarts. They have wonderful food, something for everyone. Their sweets are yummy. The staff are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. They cater for people with food allergies. Looking forward to dining there again soon.
